One Company From Design to Uptime

Most facilities do not have a power problem, a cooling problem and a monitoring problem. They have one uptime problem that shows up in three places — and three vendors who each own a third of it.

The problem

The gap between vendors is where outages live.

A UPS specified by one company, cooling sized by another and monitoring installed by a third will each pass their own commissioning. What none of them owns is the interaction: the thermal load the new power density created, the alarm that reached a dashboard nobody watches, the maintenance window that was never coordinated.

Access exists on the other side of that. We specify, supply, install, maintain and monitor power, thermal and monitoring infrastructure as one system, so the questions that fall between disciplines have somewhere to land.

What we solve

Organized around the problem, not the product.

A long aisle between two facing rows of low-voltage switchgear cubicles, indicator lamps lit red and green down both sides, a section at the far end labelled Main Power Control Center Panel

The room cannot carry the load

A space marketed as ready rarely is. We establish what the room can actually support — power, cooling and distribution together — and what it takes to close the gap.

  • Load and thermal assessment
  • Power distribution and busway
  • Precision cooling and containment
Two blue equipment cabinets standing open on a plated floor, every shelf packed with green circuit cards and a dense harness of grey and coloured cabling

The system cannot go down

Redundancy that survives a real fault rather than a diagram. Protection coordinated so the smallest possible section clears, and backed up so critical loads ride through.

  • UPS, generators and transfer schemes
  • Coordination and arc flash studies
  • NETA acceptance and maintenance testing
A row of eight electricity meters on an exterior wall, their enclosures streaked with dried paint and one tagged with graffiti, conduit sweeping away below them and ivy creeping across the right-hand end

Nobody knows it is failing

Continuous telemetry across mixed manufacturers, with alarms that escalate to a person who has somewhere to go with them.

  • Connected assets and real-time telemetry
  • Alarm management and escalation
  • Trending and lifecycle intelligence
A pile of small electric motors and pump bodies heaped on a concrete floor, thick with dust and cobwebs, flange faces rusted and one coupling missing entirely

The equipment is aging out

Lifecycle planning that separates what genuinely needs replacing from what needs maintaining, and sequences the work against the budget you actually have.

  • Condition assessment
  • Lifecycle extension services
  • Phased replacement planning

Lead times are the schedule

On critical-power projects the gear decides the date. We quote the long-lead items early and manage them as a schedule item rather than a purchase order.

  • Transformers and switchgear
  • Generators and paralleling gear
  • Medium and high voltage equipment
A lone worker in a hi-vis jacket walking across an empty concrete service level at night, lit by widely spaced high-bay fittings, cable tray and pipework running overhead

It failed at two in the morning

Emergency response from people who already have your site documented, your history on file and the part that fits it.

  • 24/7 emergency dispatch
  • Service contracts with agreed response
  • Genuine parts, wide range of makes
01

Design

Assessment, load and thermal modelling, protection coordination, and an honest account of what the facility needs — and what it does not.

02

Deploy

Procurement from the lines we represent, lead-time management, installation coordination, commissioning and acceptance testing.

03

Maintain

Preventive and condition-based maintenance on a fixed schedule, with the parts operation and the factory relationships behind it.

04

Monitor

Continuous telemetry across mixed manufacturers, alarm management and escalation to a person with a defined response.

05

Optimize

Trending that turns years of operating data into lifecycle decisions, efficiency gains and a replacement plan that is not a guess.

Flagship

Data center infrastructure.

Data centers are where all five stages compress into one project and where the cost of a gap between vendors is highest. Access supplies the power chain from medium-voltage switchgear through UPS, busway and rack PDUs; the thermal chain from precision cooling through containment and enclosures; and the monitoring layer across both — from one line card, one quote and one service relationship.

That includes Great Lakes Data Racks & Cabinets and Liebert precision cooling from the same manufacturer, which means the enclosure, the containment and the thermal design stop being three separate arguments.

Tell us what cannot go down.

Bring us the facility, the load and the risk. We will tell you honestly what it takes — and what it does not.
